A Simple Body Care Routine

A good body care routine does not need ten steps. Three thoughtful actions — cleanse, moisturize and add fragrance — can turn an ordinary shower into a daily ritual. The aim is not to rush through products, but to give each one a clear purpose.

Here is a simple routine for clean, comfortable, and scented skin.

Step 1: Cleanse with shower gel or solid soap

In the shower, apply a small amount of shower gel to wet skin, work it into a soft foam and rinse well. Choose Black Pepper, Vetiver, Neroli, Amber for a woody, spicy character or Black Vanilla for a warm, velvety one.

A solid soap is a compact alternative for hands and body. It is also practical for travel or the gym when kept in its soap dish. Use either format according to the moment; using both in one shower is unnecessary.

Step 2: Apply body cream after drying

Gently pat the skin dry, then massage in body cream. Pay attention to areas that often feel dry, such as elbows and knees. Give the cream a moment to absorb before dressing.

Using shower gel and body cream in the same aroma line creates a continuous, quiet scent. Mixing lines creates contrast. For example, Black Vanilla body cream can soften fresh or woody perfume, while Black Pepper, Vetiver, Neroli, Amber keeps the ritual dry, warm and spicy from start to finish.

Step 3: Build a small hand care ritual

Hands are washed repeatedly throughout the day, so they benefit from their own two-step routine. Cleanse with liquid soap or solid soap, dry carefully and massage in a small amount of hand cream.

For a bright sink-side scent, choose liquid soap in Orange, Jasmine or Rosemary, Lemon. Finish with hand cream in Black Pepper, Vetiver, Neroli, Amber or Tobacco, Cedarwood, Pepper when the skin needs it.

Step 4: Finish with perfume

Perfume is the final layer, not a way to cover the products beneath it. You can continue with the same aroma line for harmony or choose a contrasting fragrance to change the mood. Start lightly, especially in warm weather, and allow the scent to develop before adding more.

A simple “smell-good routine” works best when it still feels like care. Clean skin, comfortable texture and a fragrance you genuinely enjoy matter more than the number of steps.
